Religious Life

Texas Baptist Children’s Home religious life program exists to share God’s love, to lead students in becoming fully devoted followers of Christ, to build healthy friendships with other Christians, and to expose abilities and talents in order to exalt Christ with our lives.

Students attend Sunday School and morning worship at local area churches in order to for additional involvement with the community. They participate in Sunday evening Chapel services and Wednesday evening Bible Studies on Campus. Daily cottage devotionals also add spiritual support to residents.

TBCH has two choirs that sing in Chapel, perform Christmas and spring musicals, and visit churches around the community.

TBCH has a youth minister on staff who plans and implements religious programs throughout the year. Every summer the students participate in youth camp, pre-teen camp, day camp, and community mission projects.  TBCH religious life programs provide ample opportunity for students to make decisions for Christ, grow in their relationships with Him and others, and show people the love of Jesus.
