Residential Life
Miracle Farm residential facilities include three full-time boys' cottages and one relief cottage. The cottages are designed as comfortable, family style residences with two boys sharing each bedroom. Each cottage serves up to eight boys and is staffed full-time with a married houseparent couple. Houseparents are on duty 24 hours per day, three weeks per month, to offer guidance and care for the boys. During the fourth week, the boys move into the relief cottage while their regular house parents are off duty.
The greatest lessons at Miracle Farm — cooperation, trust, and family values — often begin with the day-to-day, living examples of the houseparent couples that reside with the boys. Bible studies and devotionals led by staff, as well as participation in local church activities, foster spiritual growth. Miracle Farm boys attend local Baptist churches with their houseparents and other boys in their cottage while they are in residence.
