The longest road in the world might be Highway 79 in front of Texas Baptist Children’s Home in Round Rock. Then again, maybe it’s FM 2621 that passes Miracle Farm in Brenham. Either road will take a child anywhere in the world he or she can dream about going. The possibilities are limitless.

Children At Heart Ministries lost one of its best friends on May 24 with the passing of Toni Cramer, wife of Don Cramer, VP/COO of the Children At Heart Foundation, following a four-month battle with pancreatic cancer.

BGCT Executive Director Randel Everett visits TBCH
BGCT Executive Director Randel Everett visited Texas Baptist Children’s Home in Round Rock on Wednesday, April 16. Dr. Everett toured the acclaimed Family Care program for single mothers and their children at TBCH and had dinner with residents of one of the Campus Life cottages. Wednesday evening he participated in services at First Baptist Church in Round Rock.

Gardeners and farmers will tell you that for a tiny seedling to sprout, grow and thrive takes good soil, the right nourishment, and a lot of hard work. Not to mention persistence, patience and prayer. It’s the same with children. We see evidence of that every day at Children At Heart Ministries. But sometimes we don’t see the end result for years and years.
