Counselor (Full-time). Principal Function: Responsible for the coordination and provision of counseling services to clients. Conduct group training sessions for churches, parents and referral sources. Conduct public awareness presentations to the community. SAFE Host Home, Georgetown. The SAFE Host Home Program in Georgetown has opportunities for Christian married couples to work as a team to provide a safe place for at-risk youth to live for up to 45 days while STARRY works to strengthen the child’s family connections or to help the child find long-term placement. We offer case management, training, and counseling services free of charge. You must be 25 years of age, married with one stay-at-home parent, possess a valid TX driver’s license, pass thorough background checks, and be able to provide your own vehicle for transportation. Principal Function: Provides administrative support for the STARRY Counseling Program in the McKinney office; required to cover the front office from 3:30pm-7:30pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The person in this role is required to answer all incoming phone lines, transfer calls; take accurate messages and alert staff when emergencies arise; to assist staff in the overall coordination STARRY services and support department staff. Education and Experience: High school diploma required; 4 years of experience related to the principle function; MS Office experience. Status: Part-time, no benefits. Round Rock

Foster Parents, Round Rock. There is a great need for families who are called to provide foster care for children. As a foster parent, you’ll help provide children from hard places with the type of connection and attachment that they so desperately need for healthy development. LPC Intern/LMFT Associate, Round Rock (Unpaid Part-time Intern). Principal Function: Responsible for providing counseling services to couples, adults, children, and families. Must be able to attend staff meetings at noon on Tuesdays and work at least two evenings during the week. Volunteer Coordinator Assistant, Round Rock (Part-time). Principal Function: Responsible for assisting the Volunteer Coordinator in engaging with community members interested in volunteering in a variety of capacities within STARRY. Help the Volunteer Coordinator ensure that all necessary documentation for volunteers is in order, organize the volunteer schedules, and provide training and community relations for all volunteers. Education and Experience: Applicant prefereably has a bacherlor's degree and experience in community relations and/or volunteer organization. Status: Part-time, up to 29 hours per week. Houseparent Couple, Round Rock (Full-Time position) Principal Function:To provide a safe, secure and stable environment through daily supervision and behavior management of children/youth on a 24-hour a day basis. Responsibilities include managing the household and modeling positive family living for children and youth in a Christian environment. The couple in this position maintains the household budget, providing meals, and transporting clients as needed. Education and Experience: Applicant should have a high school diploma and/or GED along with two years of full-time work experience. A good driving record and acceptable criminal background check necessary. This is a live-in position. Salary, housing, and an excellent benefits package are included. Relief Houseparent Couple, Round Rock (Part-Time position) Principal Function:To provide a safe, secure and stable environment through daily supervision and behavior management of children/youth on a 24-hour a day basis. The Part-Time schedule involves working 7 to 11 consecutive days each month, with potential for more days if there is a need. Responsibilities include managing the household and modeling positive family living for children and youth in a Christian environment. The couple in this position supports the primary house parents in maintaining the household budget, providing meals, and transporting clients as needed. Education and Experience: Applicant should have a high school diploma and/or GED along with two years of full-time work experience. A good driving record and acceptable criminal background check necessary. Housing and benefits are not provided for the part-time position.
