Houseparent Couple - Brenham, TX - Miracle Farm is seeking a married Christian couple to serve as house parents for eight teenage boys. Principal Job Function: To provide a safe, secure and stable environment through daily supervision and behavior management of youth on a 24-hour a day basis. Responsibilities include managing the household and modeling positive family living for youth in a Christian ranch environment. Maintains household budget, shops for the cottage and transports clients as needed. High school diploma and/or GED along with two years full-time work experience is required. Experience with horses and team roping strongly preferred. A good driving record and acceptable criminal background check necessary. This is a live-in position. Salary, housing, paid time off and excellent benefits package are included. STARRY

Administrative Assistant, Round Rock (Part-time, no benefits). Principal Function: Provides administrative support for the STAR counseling services to families in the STARRY Counseling Program in the Round Rock office. This position is required to cover the front office from 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week. Required to answer all incoming phone calls, transfer calls; take accurate messages and page staff when emergencies arise; assist staff in the overall coordination and communication of STAR services and support department staff in program activities. Education/Experience: High school diploma required; 4 years of experience related to the principle function; MS Office experience. Status: 20 hours per week. Counselor, Round Rock (Part-time, no benefits). Principal Job Function: This position is responsible for providing individual and marriage and family counseling services to clients in the community. Education and Experience: Applicant should have a master’s degree in counseling, social work or other human services field. Foster Care Director - Round Rock - Principal Job Function: The Director of the Foster Care and Adoption program is responsible for the coordination and provision of services to foster children and foster families, along with responsibility for recruitment, selection and supervision of additional foster care/adoption staff. In addition to specific tasks, the program director is responsible for ensuring on-going compliance with DFPS licensing standards and DFPS contract requirements for the CPA and adoption services contracts. Education and Experience: Applicant should have a master’s degree in social work, counseling or other human services field and five years of experience working with at-risk youth and families, especially in the context of foster care and adoption. Experience with trauma-informed care approaches is a priority and specific training in and implementation of Trust Based Relational Intervention would be valuable. Applicant should be a Licensed Child-Placing Agency Administrator or have immediate eligibility for obtaining the LCPAA licensure. Emergency Shelter Child Care Specialist (Full Time-Temporary) - STARRY seeks an experienced Christian individual for a full-time Child Care Specialist position with the STARRY Emergency Shelter Program in Round Rock for abused/neglected children in Williamson County. The candidate must truly have a passion for working with children and must be able to work a flexible schedule that changes each week to fit the needs of the shelter; some overnights are required. The Emergency Shelter Child Care Specialist is responsible for providing care to abused/neglected children; for implementing the Shelter’s structured child care program; and for providing an environment of consistent structure, guidance and nurturing in the Emergency Shelter. Education and Experience: High School Diploma and one year of child care experience required. Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Spanish-speaking candidate preferred.
