Children At Heart Foundation

Director of Annual Fund. The Children At Heart Foundation has an immediate opening for an experienced fund raising professional to serve as Director of Annual Fund.The Director’s primary responsibility is the strategic execution and management of a comprehensive annual giving program, including the coordination and oversight of supporting initiatives in the areas of development services, donor relations, and a coordinated matrix of communication and solicitation strategies involving email, newsletters, direct mail, and social media, all focused on shaping a sustainable tradition of annual support for the entire Children At Heart Ministries family. The Director of Annual Fund is responsible for the overall management of the annual giving program, including all marketing and communications efforts. Qualifications: Five or more years of experience in at least two of the following areas, with interest in mastering the others: annual gift fundraising, marketing and communications, website, social media, database management. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. CFRE, preferred. Experience in a faith-based or social service non-profit is a plus. Senior Director of Development. The Children At Heart Foundation has an immediate opening for an experienced fund raising professional to serve as Senior Director of Development.The Senior Director of Development will maintain an existing donor portfolio while leading the major donor cultivation/solicitation/ stewardship effort across the entire Children At Heart Ministries family. Children At Heart’s affiliated ministries include Gracewood in Houston, Miracle Farm in Brenham, and STARRY and Texas Baptist Children's Home in Round Rock. The Senior Director of Development is responsible for the overall management of the major gifts program, which is charged with managing relationships and securing support from donors who are capable of making gifts of $1,000 and above. This individual will manage a personal portfolio of 100-120 prospects, as well as manage 5-6 major gift officers, administrative staff, and administrative projects. This individual will develop and implement a plan for major gift fundraising across the region. The Senior Director of Development will work closely with all staff to promote the acquisition of major gifts. Qualifications: Five or more years of individual major gift fundraising, and two or more years of management experience. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Foster Parents, Round Rock. There is a great need for families who are called to provide foster care for hurting children. As a foster parent, you’ll help provide children from hard places with the type of connection and attachment that they so desperately need for healthy development. LPC Intern/LMFT Associate, Round Rock (Part-time, volunteer intern). Principal Function: Responsible for providing counseling services to couples, adults, children, and families. Must be able to attend staff meetings at noon on Tuesdays and work at least two evenings during the week. The SAFE Host Home Program in Georgetown has opportunities for Christian married couples to work as a team to provide a safe place for at-risk youth to live for up to 66 days while STARRY works to strengthen the child’s family connections or to help the child find long-term placement. We offer case management, training, and counseling services free of charge. SAFE Host Home, Round Rock. The SAFE Host Home Program has opportunities for Christian married couples to work as a team to provide a safe place for runaway and homeless youth to stay for up to 21 days. We offer case management, training, and counseling services free of charge. Volunteer Coordinator Assistant, Round Rock (Temporary, part-time, up to 29 hours per week). Responsible for assisting the Volunteer Coordinator in networking with community members interested in volunteering in a variety of capacities within STARRY. The person in this position helps ensure that all necessary documentation for volunteers is in order, organizes the volunteer schedules, and provides training and community relations for all volunteers. Education and Experience: Applicant must be able to work effectively within the community and promote STARRY’s mission and values in diverse situations. Texas Baptist Children's Home

Caseworker - Texas Baptist Children’s Home is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as Caseworker for 16 - 24 children in our Campus Life program. There are two primary job functions. One is coordinating with the child, family, child care staff and other support staff in developing, implementing, reviewing, and revising the child’s service plan. The other is to coordinate intakes and admissions. This individual serves as the liaison between TBCH and the child’s family as well as the RRISD and community. The Caseworker is responsible for managing case files and ensuring compliance with Licensing and DFPS contract requirements in a Christian environment. Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field along with two years of experience in the social service field is required. Master’s degree is preferred. Responsibilities include managing the household and modeling positive family living for children and youth in a Christian environment. The couple in this position maintains the household budget, shops for the cottage, provides meals, and transports clients as needed. Required: High school diploma and/or GED along with two years of full-time work experience. A good driving record and acceptable criminal background check necessary. This is a live-in position. The primary job function is to provide a safe, secure and stable environment through daily supervision and behavior management of children/youth on a 24-hour a day basis. The Part-Time schedule consists of 7 days on duty and 14 days off duty. Responsibilities include managing the household and modeling positive family living for children and youth in a Christian environment. The couple in this position supports the primary house parents in maintaining the household budget, providing meals, and transporting clients as needed. Required: High school diploma and/or GED and two years of full-time work experience. A good driving record and acceptable criminal background check necessary.
